Children's book review: Rosie and the Dance of the Dinosaurs.

Rosie was born with nine fingers, however, this has not stopped her from playing the piano. Now she is preparing for a piano recital and she is to play The Dance of the Dinosaurs.

The town that she and her mother live in is a small mining town that is becoming deserted. Her father is in Milwaukee with a new job. It has not been easy for Rosie's mom to take care of the two of them alone and she becomes scared at small things. Rosie thinks that someone is coming into their house when they are gone, but she does not want to worry her mom.

This book goes back and forth between her struggles with the tricky passage in her piano piece and the story of her friend and her trying to catch the burglar.

Through some fun twists and turns, Rosie is able to become the hit of the recital.

This would be a great read for young readers that enjoy mysteries and overcoming obstacles.

I was given this book by NetGalley and Open Road Integrated Media in exchange for my honest review.
