This story, The Mistress of Tall Acre, takes place after the American Revolution. I do enjoy historical fiction and this is a very well written one. She captured my attention with the first chapter and kept calling me back when I would put it down. Each of the characters in this book are so well-developed that I could see them in my mind.The Mistress of Tall Acre shares a story of loyalties, betrayal and hope.
The relationships were believable as is the storyline. I recommend this book for those that enjoy Christian romance or Historical romances. Very well done.
