Book Review: Blood of a Stone

This book was set at the time of Jesus' crucifixion. However it is set on the outside of the events. Demetrios of Tiberias tells about the crowds that follow Jesus, His follows, the factions and the way of those that are not part of the inner circle of followers. By writing the book from this perspective the reader can feel like they are a realistic part of this time in history, without disturbing the events.

the book was well-paced and the characters were so well-written that I could see myself living in their shoes. I was looking for more at the end, such as the resurrection. I felt like it was a little incomplete without this.

I was given this book by NetGalley and Tuscany Press in exchange for my honest review.
