Book Review: Footprints in the Desert

This book is such a descriptive book that it will make the reader pause, at times, in wonder. Footprints in the Desert by Maha Akhtar is set in Arabia in 1916. This book pulled me in with the female character who is strong, and believable. This fast-paced book is taking place during the uprising against the Ottoman empire.

Quite often books such as this write a book that only appeals to men, as the women are pushed into the background. This book does not do this. She is up for whatever faces her, danger, desert and more.

I loved this book, and I would recommend it to all.

I was given this book by NetGalley and Open Road Integrated Media in exchange for my honest review.
