This is the story of Ed Lucas, a broadcaster who happened to be blind. This is such an inspiring story encouraging others to follow their dreams, no matter what may be seen as roadblocks. Lucas lost his sight at the age of 12 when he was hit by a baseball between the eyes. Thanks to his mother's letter writing to baseball players, he was soon invited to visit clubhouses.I highly recommend this book to any who enjoy inspirational stories, sports stories or baseball.
