The Perfect Horse transported me into the life of a horse and the value of it from the first page. This is a remarkable story of the rescue of priceless horses when World War II ended. Included in these were the Lipizzaner and Strong Russian horses. Those that were on the mission saw the importance of these animals and, in a way, it gave each of them closure.Men from throughout Europe and the United States worked together to make this happen.
I fell in love with this book at the beginning, and was very satisfied with the ending. The writing was moving and made my heart travel with the heroic mission throughout.
