differentiating instruction with menus: Physic

 

I find these books to be a potential instruction books for teachers with children of advanced learning. This book deals with the subject of physics.

It covers motion, forces, energy and waves with different topics within these areas. 

The first two chapters cover choices and how to use menus in the class including products that are used in the book. These include advertisements, collage, crossword puzzles trading cards, puppets and many, many more. 

I think this would be a useful book for any teacher which has higher level students in their classroom.

Book Review: Don't Dangle Your Participle

This is a fun and educational book for children. Children do not usually enjoy learning grammar in school however, if they were given this book grammar would have them laughing out loud. It demonstrates how, when used incorrectly, participles can give the wrong, but funny, meaning of a sentence.

Participle is defined at the beginning and is partnered with some examples of good and poor usage. I feel this would be a good book for the classroom and for home.

Book review:Jacob's Ladder Reading Comprehension Program Grade 4

Jacob's Ladder Reading Comprehension Program appears to be a good resource for homeschooling teachers who are looking for a curriculum to help them build confidence in their own skills. The introduction gives background on the reasoning behind it,plus it shows the ladder concept which helps childrens' comprehension to grow.

Some of the genres include myths, poetry and non-fiction.

This is a wonderful book. The title and cover caught this former educator's attention right off. I know I had a few students that would have enjoyed this book tremendously.

This book was written for third through sixth graders. It has tips which are presented in a humorous way which will help the students remember them. I felt like this age student will also be laughing at the other jokes throughout.

I suggest parents read it first to help the child skip any parts they may find objectionable.
