Children's book review: Feel the Wind

Feel the Wind is a Look Around Book which helps children look at the world around them. The words and illustrations are so rich they pull children in easily. The lilting words shared the role of clouds in weather. It also talks about things like turbines and the role of wind in each of these things.

This is a great way to introduce children to some of the concepts of weather. I loved it.

I was given this book by NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Children's book review: 10 Rivers that Shaped the World

This non-fiction children's book is filled with facts about 10 different rivers of the world. It also includes information about the culture, the environment and fun stories. As a resource book, students in 4-7th grade will find this very useful. The photos and illustrations will help the students have a visual representation of what is in the writing. This is also a nice book for adults that need reminders of what is so special about the rivers.

I received this book from NetGalley and Annick Press in exchange for my honest review.
