Book review: Just the Facts

Just the Facts, by Ellen Sherman, tells the story of Nora Plowright. Nora just graduated from college with a degree in English. She would like to write a novel, but life is telling her that she needs a job to pay the bills. She is able to find a job at a newspaper at Anne Arundel County. Her main role is to write stories from the police blotter.

When she was sent to a meeting about a new highway, she uncovers signs of government corruption. She nows feel torn between continuing her current job of writing from the police blotter or following this new story which could lead to danger.

Ellen Sherman has written a fast-paced book that can have the reader worrying for Nora one moment and then laughing at a comment made by someone.

This book was given to me by NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
