Throughout my life I have been taught by a tutor, had to help teachers find tutors, and I have been a tutor, both face to face and on-line. This is a very difficult decision to make. The wrong tutor will not help the student at all, causing the student to stagnate or to fail. A good tutor can help the student feel what it is like to succeed, which can make them want to continue in this fashion.
