Whether a new or a well-established marriage, the author helps to keep things fresh while exploring new avenues.My husband and I read this book together so we could discuss the ideas with each other, which is always great for connecting with conversation. The chapters include topics such as communication, love, romance and intimacy, sexuality, woundedness, his needs and her needs.
I see this as a book to share to help build a deep, special relationship with your loved one.

This is the second book in A Brides with Style series. In this installment, Katie moved from a small town to Dallas. In the move she left her former boyfriend behind to move into the world of Brady, a basketball player who she has fell for. She stands by him through his knee surgery, however, her ex-boyfriend and her parents want her to move back to their small town.
Dan Walsh has written another book that will put the reader into the Christmas spirit. This is not a long book but it will touch the heart in a large way with hope and joy.
Linda Evans Shepherd is well known for her books When You Don't Know What to Pray and Experiencing God's Presence. Both of these books reached me at a spiritual depth. This book, Called to Pray, is filled with true stories of those who have listened when God has told them to pray and what happeded as a result. These may have been prayers for protection, guidance, need or for encouragement, but each of them has been answered.
Love's Rescue is set at the Florida Keys. Elizabeth Benjamin is here due to her mother's death. while here she has decided that she would like to transform herself into a true southern belle. This was easier said than done. One thing after another goes wrong, secrets come to the surface and romance enters the story.
I may not own my own heart but I love them and I have 2 that live just down the road from me. I visit them all the time, along with my dog. We have become such friends and they will always have their own stories in my heart.
Hidden Agenda is a suspense novel with a romantic and Christian twist. I read this series out of order. This is the third book in the series and I read it second. Still I would be able to follow along without reading the first, and definitely the second, ones first. However, after reading this one, I would not recommend going back to the others as this book concludes some story lines. 
All of us have changes that occur throughout our lives. Some are happy and expected ones, like the birth of my new grandchild, some are unexpected, like a doctor's diagnosis or a pop test. Some of the changes can leave us cringing with fear. Facing each of these can be helped along when we allow God to guide us through all of the changes. This book leads a person along, helping them to calm down and think of God.
Jane Kirkpatrick has a gift for writing books in this time period and about difficult subjects. Eliza is the daughter of American Indian missionaries. When she was 10 she was taken hostage by the Cayuse which took place over 39 days before the ransom was paid. This book is about her life after this time and as she marries and has children.
We can all become overwhelmed with the things that we commit to doing. This book helps the reader learn hot to choose which ones to do so the best work can be done.
I had a feeling when I began The Chase: Trusting God with Your Happily Ever After that it would be best for newlyweds or those about to be married. And while these couples would benefit the most from the writing, I found a few hints for those married for a long while also. Some of the ideas that they give also would apply for raising a family. Each member needs someone to pray for them, just like they suggest praying for each other.
This story, The Mistress of Tall Acre, takes place after the American Revolution. I do enjoy historical fiction and this is a very well written one. She captured my attention with the first chapter and kept calling me back when I would put it down. Each of the characters in this book are so well-developed that I could see them in my mind.
