Book Review: Every Girl Gets Confused

This  is the second book in A Brides with Style series. In this installment, Katie moved from a small town to Dallas. In the move she left her former boyfriend behind to move into the world of Brady, a basketball player who she has fell for. She stands by him through his knee surgery, however, her ex-boyfriend and her parents want her to move back to their small town.

I found it a little difficult to follow all of the characters, but this is probably because I did not read the first book. This is a book that brings smiles to the face easily and the author, Janice Thompson, knows how to involve the reader emotionally into the lives of the characters.

Overall, I enjoyed the book, once I began to connect to the characters. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoy a light-hearted book.

I was given this book by Revell in exchange for my honest review.

Book review: A Handful of Pebbles

This book, A handful of Pebbles by Sara Alexi, is the 7th book in theGreek Village Series. I have not read any of the other books but this did not take away from my enjoyment of this book. The fact that it is set in an area of the world that intrigues me pulled me in and the story kept me involved.

In this book, Sarah goes to Greece to attend her youngest son's wedding. This was an emotional book that pulled on many feelings that, I believe, many mothers go through when they witness their children marrying, regrets, change and more. I now want to read each of the other books in this series. Alexi is such a wonderful writer. Thank you for this book .
