Book Review: What our Mamas Taught Us

What Our Mamas Taught Us is a little book filled with a lot of love. Linda Seger recorded, within two covers, sayings from the "mamas" in her life. Included in this is her own mama, grandmother and aunts.

The book is broken down into sections such as Adventure, Money, Problem and so on. It is a book of comfort for when you cannot hear your own mothers words of encouragement or advice. For a small book it packed a cartload of love.

Anyone who loves the words that others have shared with them throughout their lives would love this book.

Book Review: Romancing Your Better Half

Romance means different things to different people, but Rick Johnson is able to show the reader how to make changes that will help build romance with your other. Whether a new or a well-established marriage, the author helps to keep things fresh while exploring new avenues.

My husband and I read this book together so we could discuss the ideas with each other, which is always great for connecting with conversation. The chapters include topics such as communication, love, romance and intimacy, sexuality, woundedness, his needs and her needs.

I see this as a book to share to help build a deep, special relationship with your loved one.

Book Review: ZooBorns Mother Love

This is a book full of the love between mothers and their babies. Filled with adorable pictures of animals, this book tugs at the heartstrings.

The copy that I received from NetGalley was only a partial copy but the pages that I received would make a wonderful snuggle time with mothers and their little ones. The pictures make you want to see more as they show the struggles that mothers go through to make sure their young are safe and loved.

Based on what I was able to see, I would recommend this book to anyone that loves to read to little ones.
