HappiNest : finding fulfillment when your kids leave home by Judy Holland

HappiNest: Finding Fulfillment When Your Kids Leave Home by [Holland, Judy]I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
I do with that I had this book when my kids left home. Judy Holland takes a emotional topic and has fun with it. I was afraid that it would be advice and difficult to read but she was able to make it easier with the humor that she put into to help make learning easier.
I think this would be a good book for anyone that will be, or has, faced an empty nest. It will make this time of life a lot better.

Joyful Momentum: Growing and Sustaining Vibrant Women's Groups

Joyful Momentum: Growing and Sustaining Vibrant Women's Groups by [Tomlin, Elizabeth A.]I have been part of or lead women Bible Studies in the past but they all seem to fade or loose interest over time. I know there is a need for it and this book is a good guidebook to help begin and grow a study.
I don't believe that you have to be a leader of a Bible Study to appreciate this book, I believe that anyone who has even thought of being in one should pick this book up and read it. These groups are essential to the growth and unity of the church. Plus they allow a safe place for women to gather and share emotionally and spiritually.
I highly recommend this book to all women interested in Bible Study.

If for Any Reason by Courtney Walsh

If for Any Reason by [Walsh, Courtney]In this book, If for Any ReasonI, Courtney Walsh goes to Nantucket. Emily Ackerman has inherited her grandfather's house, so this means she must go to a place that she has not been in 18 years. While there, she finds her friend from when she was a child, Hollis McGuire, a former professional baseball player. Emily also uses her time here to find answers about her mother's death many years ago.
I love the story of Emily's late mother. The reader is taken on a trip through time from the years 1989 to 2001, when Emily was a teenager through young adult. The love that was there from her mother was undoubted and was evidenced in the letters the mother wrote to her.
I recommend this book to lovers of contemporary Christian romance or anyone who enjoys Courtney Walsh's books.
