Book Review: Lists to Live By

I was given this book by NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
This is a good book for those who want to become more focused, especially list makers.
It is filled with prompts which helps to inspire. Each page has a Bible verse, a prompt, space for writing, a prayer and then extra thoughts to guide throughout the day.
I feel this would be a good book for everyone to purchase for themselves or for others.

Book Review: Daily Question for You and Your Child

The Daily Question for You and Your Child: A Three-Year Spiritual JournalI received this book from WaterBrook in exchange for my honest review.
When I first glimpsed at the cover of this book, The Daily Question for You and Your Child, then read the description, I thought this is the perfect book for either me to share with my grandchildren or to give to my daughter. After looking at it I still feel that way.
This is a 3 year journal which has 365 questions in it. The pages are like diary entries with a each day having a place to put a response for each of three years. I think this is wonderful as children can change their responses each year when asked.
Some of the responses involve writing a short story about an object, or to say what makes them feel a certain way, like joyful. There are also questions about their creativity or telling about traditions. This is just a tiny bit compared to what else this book has in it. I wish I had a book like this when my children were small, but I am so glad it is available today.
For parents, grandparents or those that care for children I feel this is a special way to spend some one-on-one time with a child in your life.
I highly recommend it.

Book Review: Extraordinary Ordinary Moments

I received this journal in the mail not know whether I would enjoy it or not. Well, the suspense was soon over, I loved it. Each page in the journal has a short little prompt with the rest of the page free for writing, drawing, coloring or whatever the writer may desire. Each page is sturdy enough to allow for a variety of creativity.

There are over 300 entries in the book with topics like "Something that brings you into the moment,"
"a windfall," "Something best when it is cold."
As you can tell by these prompts the creativity can then take over.

Book review: Instant Happy Journal: 365 days of inspiration, gratitude and joy

Image result for instant happy journalThis book came along at just the right time. I was looking for something that would encourage me to begin a journal and this is it.

As I entered the book and I saw some of the inspirations, I could begin writing immediately. Some include "What do you say to yourself when you're feeling really confident." "Aim yourself forward, not backwards." and "What is your intuition trying to wake you up to?"

With one of these inspirations facing you everyday it is easy to begin, or end the day on a positive foot.

I love this and I would recommend it to anyone.
