Book Review: The Vanishing Throne

This book, The Vanishing Throne, is the second book in the Falconer Trilogy. This book is suspenseful, however, I had a difficult time staying with it, since I had not read the first book. However, saying that, Elizabeth May has a gift of writing which makes the reader feel as if they are part of the action.

I would like to come back to this book after reading book one. I would recommend this for anyone who has an interest in this book.

I was given this book by NetGalley and Chronicle Books for my honest review.

Book Review: Hawk

Hawk, by Ronie Kendig, is the second book in The Quiet Professionals series. This book kept me glued to my chair. It was so hard to put down due to how action-packed it is. Hawk takes chances, which means that he is often in the line of danger, either from others or from his own actions.

In this book, Hawk and Fekiria are on the trail of terrorists that have been attacking Raptor and the military. This hunt takes them through Tera Pass and the snowstorm, cold temperatures and injuries this entails.

The author, Kendig, is amazing in the way she is able to develop characters even with all the action that takes place. Plus with her descriptions, she places the reader right in the middle of the action.

I was given this book by bookfun.org and the author in exchange for my honest review.
