This book, George Washington's Secret Spy War, was an interesting book to read. It appears to be thoroughly researched, however, I did have difficulties following the subject at times. The author is very credible, I just had a very hard time wanting to pick the book up when I had to put it down.I am a history buff so I do know the details that have to go into writing to help back up the facts, but I just felt like the book was sluggish. I truly wanted to enjoy the book but I did have my problems with it.
I was given this book by NetGalley and St. Martin's Press in exchange for my honest review.
I have read many books about each of these gentlemen, but I do not believe I have ever read one about their relationship. Both of these men had many military and personal struggles, yet they were able to come together to forge what became The United States of America.
