Book Review: A Sister's Promise

This book, about the love between sisters, makes the reader step back and look at their own family relationships.

Sharda and Puja are more than sisters, they are each other's best friends. Each is unique. One is responsible, one free-spirited. However, they both love fun and each other. However, even as strong as the bond is, a secret can tear them apart.

This story is filled with love, loss and grace. Plus is written with such style, the reader feels like they are falling into the story themselves. As I was reading, I could picture the scene including all that the senses share.

Book Review: The Misadventures of a Playground Mother

The Misadventures of a Playground Mother tells the reader that this is going to be a fun book to read. This was a sequel, but I had not read the first one and I was able to figure everything out quickly.

Rachel, and Penelope are the main characters in this book, however, Rachel meets two other people who become friends. The women share their lives while waiting at the gate of the school.

This is a nice book to read when someone wants a fast read to read under a blanket with a cup of tea.

Julie is a wedding planner and a new mother. As she goes back to work, she plans three very different weddings, each with their own opportunities. 

Gill's wedding is planned to bring two families together smoothly.
Aimee's mother-in-law wants to be the deciding voice in her wedding, but Aimee is not going for it.
Debbie would like to be slimmer for her wedding.

This book is a fun read which covers several topics such as family, dreams and friends. This book is a wonderful view into the life of a wedding planner and the brides involved.
